My Story.
I was born in London to two hard-working immigrant parents. By 13, I had already labelled myself “The Walking Contradiction.”
I lived between cultures that clashed, expectations that stacked, and unspoken rules that said: Pick one version of yourself - and mute the rest.
So I tried. And I pulled it off - on the surface. But not without a cost. As a child, I suffered one illness after another – from stomach ulcers to immunity disorders - all from suppressing emotions. Then rage began to seep in. As a young adult, I rebelled in every, possible way. Against the systems that made me feel small. Against circumstances I couldn’t change. Against people who didn’t want to.
They say you become what ‘little you’ needed. So, I became a teacher. A safe adult. A role model. And I did well. Really well.
But behind the leadership roles, the achievements, the high-functioning hustle…I was quietly burning out.
Unprocessed trauma. Inner conflict. Physical setbacks. Unhealthy coping strategies. The relentless pressure to perform. All of it - still there. And still, I pushed.
I taught. I mentored. I led. I fought for change inside a system that often forgot the humans in it.
Until November 2019. I hit my lowest point - no dark details. I just knew something had to shift.
That same year, I met a life coach. I won’t be cliché and say my life changed – but my mindset certainly did, and slowly things began to shift.
I stopped trying to fix my contradictions - and started owning them. I stopped resisting myself and started refining myself. Challenges became catalysts for success. My capacity grew. I grew. I finally realised: Growth isn’t about changing what’s around you. It’s about mastering what’s within you.
And trust me, when you’ve spent years at war with yourself - nothing compares to the peace and power of finally working with yourself.
A few months later, the school I taught in offered to send me on another leadership course.
I smiled… and politely declined. I already knew I had no intention of staying in the teaching game much longer (awkward).
So instead, the Head offered me a life coaching course. I said yes. No hesitation. Immediately remembering the power of those coaching sessions I previously had. It was brief - but potent. I loved the course. And I was good at it!
I started practicing immediately in 2020 - coaching colleagues, senior leaders, and quietly watching the results speak for themselves.
Weeks later, I discovered the largest and oldest coaching academy in the UK…and hesitated…After deep reflection, I silenced my inner critic. Enrolled. Studied. Practiced. Completed essays. Submitted assignments. Coached. Tutored. Taught. Completed my diploma. Graduated with top honours. And in 2024, I fully transitioned out of teaching.
Now? Here I am. Healthy. Happy. Building the life I love. Grateful.
I’m Lama Abou Daher - accredited Life Coach, certified DISC practitioner, and specialist in mindset, duality, and personal mastery.
With over a decade in high-performance education, leadership, and transformation, I now help ambitious, driven individuals do what I had to learn the hard way:
Stop battling yourself. Start working with yourself.
My coaching style? Bold yet compassionate. Structured, but deeply intuitive. Direct - always with heart. Because I don’t just teach duality. I live it.
I help you integrate every part of who you are - even the ones you’ve been taught to hide, mute, or shrink. I don’t believe that all traits are inherently ‘good’ or ‘bad’ - I believe they’re value is contextual.
And real mastery? It’s knowing when to use what.
Here’s how I see it:
Your traits are like a team.
Not every player is needed at every moment.
Not every player shines in every game.
But you don’t bench your subs forever - you know their time will come.
You learn to trust them. Honour them. And most importantly: Utilise them.
Self-mastery isn’t about choosing a side of yourself and muting the rest.
It’s about knowing how to lead with all of you.
Because when you stop silencing your inner team and start leading it properly?
You stop playing small.
You start winning on your terms.
Every. Single. Time.

I meal prep every Monday.
My hair is naturally, very curly.
I have my own Life Coach.
I find crooked teeth on other people very endearing.
I play netball weekly and I’m learning to ski.
I want a motorbike. I’ve never wanted a car.
One of the first things I notice about people is their hands.
The number eight is my favourite.
Alice in Wonderland was and still is a BIG inspiration to me.
I’ve started an antique teacup collection. The oldest teacup I have is from 1870!
I have a Siberian cat named Porcini, (yes, as in the mushroom).
I love singing. Please don’t ask me to, though.
I used to be camera-shy. There is a portion of my life missing because I refused to be in family photos/videos for four years.
My favourite films are: Inception, Memoirs of Geisha and Cinema Paradiso.
Every November, I must watch The Dark Knight Trilogy.
I used to play the Piano. I reached grade 4 and quit. I haven’t touched one since.
“The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.” That quote is my ROMAN empire. I think about this daily.
My biggest fear is getting Alzheimer’s.
LCL.
THREE LETTERS - ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES
I created LCL with one clear intention:
To show how powerful coaching can be - when it’s done with real depth, aligned purpose and unapologetic power.
Sure, I could have just worked under my full name.
But this isn’t just about me.
It’s about what I bring to you.
A way of working. A way of being.
A philosophy that reaches beyond me.
So, what is that philosophy?
Accept, Respect and Master Your Duality.
Because real self-leadership doesn’t come from choosing a side, it comes from owning it all.
Did the LCL philosophy resonate with you?
The Logo?
It came to me at 3am…
Don’t all the best ideas?
My logo is simple, symmetrical but it’s not just a design. Every line, every curve, every pause - it’s all deliberate and encompasses the LCL philosophy.
And here’s the twist most people miss: That symbol that makes out L C L?
It spells my name in Arabic - لما
Coincidence? No.
Complete alignment? Yes.
